Since its inception in 2009, one of Leadtech’s key objectives has been for its employees to feel like they are part of a project that is more than simply a day’s work. To this end, all of our corporate actions have been directed at improving the wellbeing of all those affected in any way by our initiatives.
Today, these initiatives are consolidated and strengthened by Leadtech’s Corporate Social Responsibility Plan.
This program is a voluntary decision to collaborate in effecting social, working, and environmental improvements for all the stakeholders associated with our company. It is a commitment that goes beyond what is legally required to contribute to actions with true significance, credibility, and transparency.
We have grown (in every way), and so has our CSR plan to fit our current needs.
At Leadtech, we are a group of restless minds who love to constantly evolve, innovate and improve so we are always one step ahead.
With Leadtech's values and principles as a guide, four main lines of action have been defined that are consistent with our stakeholders’ needs and seek to add value and generate changes to build a society with more awareness of its environment.
To create online projects/solutions with an international scope, for various sectors, and that generate high value to the end user.
To be leaders in the creation and development of online businesses, providing our clients with the best experience in digital products.
To reach the company's objectives and, in turn, meet the expectations of our stakeholders, it is essential to maintain a close and transparent dialogue that allows an understanding of the particular needs of all the parties involved.
Four lines of action have been defined related to the areas of interest in which Leadtech wants to generate a greater positive impact during 2021:
Different initiatives have been established for each of these, some of which are already underway.
In line with our tagline “Work hard, play harder”, we want all the members of our team to find a balance between their work performance and their professional satisfaction with regards to their colleagues, the work environment, and Leadtech in general.
However, we are also interested in promoting a work-life balance: our commitment goes beyond business hours.
Our goal is for each worker to feel welcomed, satisfied, and proud to work for our company.
See below our initiatives related to this line of action:
Leadtech strives to provide an entertaining and fulfilling workplace, which also means defining some 'rules of the game'. For this reason, Leadtech has a good practice guide in which our ethical values, operating principles, and the keys to the internal organization of the company are established.
The purpose of this manual is to guarantee the correct performance of the company and to establish some general regulations to guide how all the members of Leadtech are expected to behave.
To publicize this information, a mandatory training module for current workers and new hires has been included in the onboarding process.
Leadtech operates in line with the principles and requirements outlined in the General Law on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and their Social Inclusion (known by its Spanish acronym, LGD).
Specifically, our company is committed to the inclusion of people with disabilities in its different areas, as well as the adaptation of their roles, if necessary, to facilitate their well-being in the workplace.
To achieve this, Leadtech works hand in hand with specialized foundations that support the search for and placement of workers with disabilities in companies like ours.
At Leadtech, workers are supported with various measures that facilitate a balance between work and family on top of those already established by law. To this end, we offer our teams:
Leadtech is highly committed to equal opportunities and, therefore, aims to perfect and consolidate a gender equality plan that allows its workers access to jobs, opportunities for development, and equitable spaces.
We would like everyone who works at Leadtech to be comfortable in every sense of the word. For this reason, we have multiple ergonomic measures within the workplace, as well as guides on reporting hazards and the proper use of your environment and work equipment.
Our company also has an exhaustive protocol to provide support during emergencies in the offices—all to ensure the maximum well-being and safety of employees.
To help Leadtech’s staff transition into remote work, the company has assisted employees financially in order to help them adjust their workspace to telecommuting. Additionally, it has provided tips and advice aimed at creating a better working environment, including a guide on how to furnish their home office.

“Update or die” is one of the most important mantras for a digital company like Leadtech. That’s why we provide each worker with an annual budget of €500 for further training in the area of their choice.
In addition to this benefit, our company encourages internal training. How? Through an initiative in which the workers themselves teach courses or workshops to share their knowledge and skills, which in turn allows them to obtain an increase in their annual training budget.
We believe that one of the secrets to growing is helping others to grow. For this reason, Leadtech also encourages professional development through an internship program for recent graduates or students in their final stage of academic studies.
Through this program it is possible to access both curricular and non-curricular internships in their respective areas of specialization, allowing them to work hand in hand with professionals from different departments.
The Leadtech internship program aims to have its participants put the theory learned during the academic year into practice, while their mentors share feedback with them that outlines their strengths and areas of improvement.
This program allows employees to act as brand ambassadors and refer to open positions at Leadtech. A good match between new staff and Leadtech’s corporate culture is critical, and we believe there is no better referral than the one made by our team members since they are already familiar with our company values.
We encourages good habits, both inside and outside the work environment.
This implies having a holistic view of what preventive culture means: healthy eating, physical activity, and mental health, among other areas. Currently, our company has:
Is a leader born or made? At Leadtech we accompany all employees who assume a new position of people management through a leadership training program. In this way, we ensure a responsible and coherent transition to the new role.
This plan includes the possibility of accessing training modules which help to grow specific professional skills.
Promoting professional development through internal applications is also a key commitment that Leadtech makes to its teams. The procedure is very simple:
During 2020, Leadtech carried out 23 internal promotions and 18 lateral moves. Our next initiative will be a monthly email that will be sent to all employees with available vacancies so that they can be informed more quickly.
At Leadtech we consider ourselves a healthy company

The next initiatives include the incorporation of posters in the office and emails with recommendations on healthy habits and the organization of webinars related to topics of interest to workers based on the feedback received.
There is no corporate social responsibility without communication. It's that simple.
For this reason, one of the leading commitments in our strategic plan has to do with communicating, disseminating, and promoting the CSR initiatives implemented by Leadtech. How? As follows:
Expanding our horizons and going beyond contemporary standards is meaningless without a commitment to the environment. Our responsibility goes beyond our offices, but it is precisely from there that we can contribute more directly.
Currently, Leadtech offices have plenty of natural light, which helps us to save energy. However, we have also proactively opted for the use of LED bulbs to further reduce consumption.
Furthermore, stickers will be soon included on the workers' monitors or laptops to remind employees that computers must be turned off at the end of the working day.
All of these measures are ultimately aimed at preventing unnecessary energy consumption.
Leadtech takes measures for waste management very seriously. The following initiatives are currently underway to generate an adequate recycling process in our two offices:
Leadtech is committed to the responsible use of paper. The paper-making process has a huge environmental impact and the company wants its employees to be conscious of how much of this resource we are consuming. The recycled paper will be used in the offices regularly and an awareness campaign will be launched.
We operate in a digital environment where we minimize the printing of documents and the consequent waste of ink and paper. However, when necessary, we promote double-sided, black-and-white printing among employees.
On Leadtech's part, we have environmentally friendly printers that automatically turn off when not in use and are compatible with disposable vegetable-based toners.

For our next initiatives for the correct management of recycling technological and office equipment, we will donate items that are still functional to Labdoo, so that they can continue to be used in schools around the world in deprived areas.
One of our corporate objectives is to think globally and act locally in all our areas of work.
